MCASD

It started out as a trip to this cove in hopes of seeing the seals and sea lions that David and Dawn had told us about the night before at dinner at Havana Kitchen which was delicious, by the way. Ira had the shredded beef house specialty and it was lick-your-plate good.

Anyways, after dinner we stopped for gelato at Bobboi, which was also delicious. And then went by the cove to see if we could see the seals and sea lions. David went on to tell us about the The Battle of La Jolla between the humans and the seals and sea lions. Sadly, we didn't see any that night or the next day. So we shifted gears and went in search of air conditioning at MCASD.

Or more commonly known as the Museum of Contemporary Art San Diego. Not knowing where exactly to go, we ended up going into the property through a back door and convinced a guard to then let us in.

These were by a Vietnamese artist. I thought they were very interesting.

We ended the day at the beach, hoping Ira could see Kobayashi first hand this time. But sadly, for some reason, he just wasn't feelin' it. Doesn't your heart just break?

So we stayed to watch the sunset and then headed back.

A dopo!
