Nice Knockers

If you read the last post, you won't be surprised that we spent a lot of time figuring and configuring the top floor of "The Wow Project". We will be walking the property again before our meeting on Tuesday. This time we'll have to pay more attention to the opposite side of the terrace.

The title of this blog is courtesy of the newly appointed Senior Assistant Blog Editor, Irmo (pronounced EAR-mo), which is Ira's new Italian nickname. It's been raining since we woke up so we had a lazy morning in and then went out after lunch in hopes to go shopping. Of course we forgot that most shops are closed in the afternoon after lunch and then reopen around 4:30pm. So Irmo had the idea to take pictures of the door knockers around town. He has been admiring them since we got here.

The lion is popular and there is such depth to the piece. I also love the door.

Some are of faces, some scarier than others.

Some faces look Egyptian

Some are curly and swirly.

And others are very simple.

The last one is the door knocker and the door to "The Gallery" property. Pretty, right?

The rain kept everyone inside, so with the exception of one or two people, we had the streets to ourselves, so it wasn't so weird taking the pics.

The pizza place in Follonica is closed today, so instead, Andrea is grabbing take out pizza here in Massa and we'll have dinner at their place at 8:30pm. We're probably going to need a snack and a nap before dinner LOL !

A dopo!
