A walk in the parks

If you caught yesterday's post about our lunch, you'll understand why a long walk first thing this morning was in order. We decided to go to Conad grocery store via Melissa's route through the parks.  Instead of the direct route towards the library we went the opposite direction at the Torre del Candeliere, behind the church and through this park.

We walked the Conad aisles to see what was what. It seemed to be slightly larger than Coop. We bought a few things to supplement our lasagna leftovers and went through the self checkout. It should have been easy, but somehow we locked up the screen. A very nice girl asked a checker to call for help, as we were clearly in need of it. She then showed us how to scan our receipt so we could get out the turnstile. Always learning LOL!

On our way back we walked through the second park. The kids were in school so we had the lookout point to ourselves today. From behind this tower you can look down and to the right at this view below. This is looking towards Cittavecchia. The yellow arrow is the terrace of "The Wow Project".

We heading out for another quick walk before we go to visit a private bonsai collection in Punta Ala.

Ciao, a dopo!
